1. Introduction
SnapGame respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of SnapGame to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.
2. Filing a DMCA Notice — Required Elements
To be valid under § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (title, URL, or other identifier).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material on SnapGame, with enough detail (including direct URL) for us to locate it.
- Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
3. Where to Send Notices

4. Response Time
We aim to review valid notices and take appropriate action (typically removing or disabling access to the material) within 5–10 business days of receipt.
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under § 512(g)(3) containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district of your address (or, if outside the United States, of any judicial district in which SnapGame may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice we may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original claimant notifies us that they have filed an action seeking a court order.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with § 512(i), it is our policy to terminate the access, uploads or accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
7. Misrepresentation
Under § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please file responsibly.
