Addiction Solitaire is a solitaire card game built around reorganizing a full deck into four ascending suited rows from Ace to King. Its premise is simple to read at a glance: gaps open across the layout, and each move is about sliding the correct card into place so the sequence gradually rebuilds itself. Two difficulty settings change how strict the placement rules feel, giving the same layout a more forgiving or more exacting rhythm. Play centers on empty spaces. A card can be moved into a gap when it continues the order beside it, and in easy mode that rule also allows placement by matching one rank lower than the card on the right. That creates a constant trade-off between making the most obvious local fix and preserving room for later suit alignment across the row. Up to three reshuffles per game add another layer of planning, since using one too early can tidy the board temporarily but leave fewer ways to recover from a stalled arrangement. The format suits short, methodical sessions and players who like clear rules with a fair amount of positional thinking. Its presentation stays close to the familiar structure of classic solitaire, while the gap-moving system gives each decision a more deliberate puzzle character than a standard draw-and-stack layout.

Objective

The goal is to arrange all four rows in ascending order from Ace to King, with cards matched by suit.

Steps

1Move a card into an empty spot when it is one rank higher than the card on its left.
2In easy mode, a card may also be moved into an empty spot when it is one rank lower than the card on its right.
3Use reshuffles carefully, as only three are available in a game.

Tips

Leave space for suit matching rather than filling every gap immediately.
Save reshuffles for positions that can no longer be improved with regular moves.
