Connect Clues - The Missing Professor is a detective puzzle game built around merging identical clue pieces while a missing-person case unfolds. The story follows Inspector Hale and Detective Crane as they investigate the disappearance of Professor Eldridge, a historian and archaeologist whose wrecked office suggests a sudden and troubling break from his usual habits. As the case moves forward, ordinary objects become part of a larger chain of evidence, with each successful combination revealing another link in the investigation. Play centers on a falling-item merge system. A new clue appears at the top of the screen each turn, and the player shifts it left or right before releasing it into the play area. When two matching clues collide, they transform into a new item, gradually opening access to more important evidence. The main trade-off is between quick placement and careful setup: dropping a piece immediately keeps the board moving, but holding out for a better position can preserve space and produce higher-level combinations. The Investigation log, opened from the book icon, serves as a running record of the case and helps track story progress between merges. 3Move the clue left or right with the cursor or a finger before releasing it.

5Combine identical clues to create new items and continue building the chain of evidence.
